These are some of the things that I have done but do not fit under any of the other categories. To avoid calling this page "Other", I decided that "freelance" was a cooler name for it. Most of them are hosted elsewhere, in websites designed for hosting each kind of content.
- Drawings — most of them are still in a (physical) folder, to be scanned. But since I bought my Tablet PC I've done a few digitally, using the excellent software ArtRage. These, and the ones I've scanned are hosted at DeviantArt.com.
- Photography — I once had a nice Fuji FinePix F610, and that started my interest in photography. Since then I only had lousy cameras, but from time to time I attempt some artistic composition. Not that I achieve much success, but check them for yourself on Flickr.com.
- Logos — I don't know where my interest for logos came from, but from time to time I do some work in that field. My greatest achievement was winning two public contests for the logos (coat of arms) of municipalities in Cape Verde. Here's a gallery of some logos I made, mostly informally (i.e., not paid for).
- Writing — As I mention in my bio, I enjoyed reading since I was a kid, and that eventualy evolved to some experimentation in writing. In 2002 a great-aunt of mine introduced me to Larissa Rodrigues, editor of the Cape Verdean magazine Artiletra, and after getting a first experimental article published, I started a column which I maintain to this day. I keep an archive of the published texts on artigoswaldir.blog.com.
